A beautifully handcrafted set of gates are being installed at Juniper Avenue, showcasing the unique character and craftsmanship that define the Bussey & Armstrong approach to placemaking.
The bespoke gates, designed and made by celebrated blacksmith Brian Russell, are being created using traditional forging techniques alongside detailed laser cutting. The design combines natural forms with intricate leaf patterns and a striking symmetry that both welcomes and impresses.
Photographs show the gates being measured on site. They will frame the entrance to Juniper Avenue, one of the latest additions to Bussey & Armstrong’s long-term vision for Darlington’s most desirable neighbourhood.
These gates are not just functional — they’re sculptural. Built to last, they reflect the care and quality Bussey & Armstrong applies to every aspect of its homes and public spaces.
In an era of off-the-shelf fittings and identikit design, this small but significant detail is another reminder that West Park is something different — where every street has its own story, and every feature is built with purpose.
